This is a fast-becoming noticed location, with public and private regeneration taking place throughout and beyond SE14, SE8 and SE4. The Canary Wharf commute is easy with Deptford Bridge DLR so close, and London Overground trains can be picked up from New Cross, as well as main line services To London Bridge etc.

What else is local This area boasts great local galleries, bars, pubs and restaurants. We like The London Particular cafe an awful lot. Brockley Market on Lewisham Way is great of a Saturday. Lewisham Art House has some great classes and exhibitions on nearby Lewisham Way. You are also approximately a 20 minute walk from The Maritime Greenwich UNESCO World Heritage Site – comprising the historic town centre, the beautiful Royal Park and the related institutional buildings. The Royal Observatory is a must-go-to and the views from up here at the top of the park, looking onto The Thames and beyond, are really something. Deptford High Street is super local and thriving, with regular markets, handy shops, creative cafes and swanky restaurants: The Winemakers Club and Marcella are a real treat (book to avoid disappointment). The Curzon Cinema at Goldsmiths, Deptford Cinema and Greenwich Picturehouse are all a short walk away. Blackheath, New Cross, Peckham and Camberwell are all close for further options.
