Us home sales 'to rise in 2011'
The rate of USA property sales is still likely to be higher in 2011 than that recorded last year, new figures suggest.
According to Freddie Mac research, this year's rise in home sales should be 3 to 5% higher.
The latest US Economic and Housing Market Outlook from the firm also showed that the opening quarter of 2011 saw promising signs emerge in the country's rental property sector.
Compared to the previous year's statistics, the Apartment Property Price Index was up by 15.2% during the three-month period.
