Spanish developer qsd nets best sales figures for three years
Spanish developer QSD International Group has just had its best November sales figures for 3 years, says sales director Andrew Barclay Guy, mainly as a result of the decision by the Spanish government to reduce VAT on new home sales until the end of this year.
Speaking exclusively to OPP, Guy said "we have been delighted with the figures in November, and it was an excellent month for three of our top agents as well."
QSD has been developing homes on the Costa Blanca for more than 40 years, and the company has been surprised by the sales surge as a result of the tax incentive.
However, Guy, who has worked for the company for 11 years, does not see any long-term trend emerging and does not think that the overall market is showing any signs of improving. He thinks that the market will go back to normal in 2012, once the tax incentive is over.
