Spelling mansion sold for $85m
In a landmark residential investment deal, a 56,000 sq ft Los Angeles mansion built by the late television producer Aaron Spelling has been brought by a billionaire British heiress.
Petra Ecclestone, 22, paid $85 million for the massive mansion situated in a 4.7-acre plot in the exclusive Holmby Hills area.
Candy Spelling, Spelling's widow, put the property on the market for $150 million two years ago.
Built in 1990, the lavish property is the largest residence ever constructed in Southern California.
