Moby makes sweet real estate music

The 49 year old, whose real name is Richard Melville Hall, recently sold his home in the Hollywood Hills. Called the Wolf's Lair, he snapped up the estate for $3.925 million in several years ago, before restoring it with period details.
That DIY remixing sent the DJ back a few more million, but he still ran on the other side with a profit-scoring sale. The price fetched by his old home? $12.4 million, a sizeable step up from its former price tag.
It is arguably, though, quite deserving of the sum: from the turrets to the gable windows, it is as extravagant as one could hope, with even a rumoued secret tunnel and hidden underground bar. Built for Milton Wolf, a Hollywood developer back in the 1920s, it has since been home to Marlon Brando, The Beatles and Wolf's pet monkey, for whom one of the turrets was created.
How does one follow up such a wonderland of wackiness? With a remodelled 1925 Tudor propety in Los Feliz. His new home, near to such neighbours as Jon Hamm and Zac Efron, boasts calmer features, such as a pool house and a living room with 11-foot ceilings.
Moby has lost none of his property magic, though: the property was listed for $3.295 million this summer. His price? $2.99 million.
The beat goes on.
