Now available in real life: barbie’s dreamhouse
You may recall earlier this year when Barbie listed her Malibu beach house for sale. Now, cute marketing stunts aside, Barbie has upscaled her real estate portfolio to include a real life DreamHouse - one that humans can actually fit inside.
The property, which spans 10,000 square feet, boasts everything from bright pink ovens and elevators to large mirrors and “more than 350 Barbie dolls and other collector memorabilia”, reports ActiveRain (via Curbed).
The attraction also includes activities for kids, including a “digital cupcake” designer in the kitchen and a chance to virtually try on fashions from Barbie’s Endless Dream Closet. Even Barbie’s dog makes an appearance.
The house, located in South Florida’s City of Sunrise, was built in under a year and is one of only two Barbie DreamHouses in the world: the other is in Berlin.
The property contains over 20 pounds of glitter and 100 gallons of pink paint - enough to make any passer-by stop and take notice. The feature that most will be jealous of, though? Barbie’s Jet Airplane. Who knows how much glitter went into making that?
