Property show waives fees for egypt exhibitors

Property Investor Media – organisers of the UK’s leading property investment exhibitions The Property Investor Show and OPP Live – today confirmed their support for Egypt-based property developers and agents by waiving their contractual obligations to exhibit at their forthcoming London exhibition (ExCeL 18 & 19 March) and to fully refund stand payments.

Commenting on the decision, Property Investor Media’s Managing Director Nick Clark stated “... During recent years exhibitors from Egypt and trade associations such as ERTDA have been great supporters of The Property Investor Show and OPP Live, with recent events seeing participation by a large number of developers and agents from the country.

"A crucial part of our business is about nurturing these relationships over the long-term and in view of the well publicised situation in Egypt at present we believe the correct course of action is to relieve our Egypt exhibitors of their obligations to exhibit at our March show - and offer to refund their money in full.

We hope, of course, that by the time of our autumn exhibition – The Property Investor & OPP Live (13-15 October) – the domestic situation in Egypt will have improved and we will welcome our regular exhibiting clients back to London ...”
