Megaworld emerges as the biggest developer in the philippines

The Philippines-based developer Megaworld Corp has had an excellent 2012, emerging as the country’s largest builder of residential condominium units with a massive pipeline in place for the next 5 years, according to research from the consultancy Colliers International.

The company is poised to take 16% of the Philippino market and build a total saleable area of about 1.15 million square meters between now and 2012.

Megaworld senior vice president Francis Canuto told OPP that there are two key factors behind the company’s “strong residential sales.”
