Is kenya a luxury property hotspot?

Describing Kenya as a property investment hotspot may sound strange to some, but luxury real estate in the country is experiencing strong growth according to some reports.

House prices have increased, according to Knight Frank, while Citibank's World Wealth Report 2012 saw that high-end Kenyan property recorded some of the best performances in the world last year - statistics that have led A Place in the Sun to argue that investing in Kenyan real estate would be a "positive" move.

"Two stylish new Kenyan projects are attracting attention," adds A Place in the Sun, highlighting the projects by developer Leslie Duckworth in the Laikipia area, north of Nairobi, and the island of Lamu.
