Renée zellweger selling her rural connecticut country estate

Nine months after unloading a pair of Manhattan apartments to fellow actress Leelee Sobieski, Oscar winner Renée Zellweger has just listed her country home in Pomfret, Conn.

Asking $1.5M, the river-front property features a 3,400-square-foot historic main house, a guest cottage, a recreation barn, a swimming pool and, for that extra Hollywood touch, a helicopter landing pad.

According to Coldwell Banker's Jonathan Radford, the actress purchased the country spread back in 2004 and set about respectfully renovating the 1770 farmhouse while adding period-appropriate stone walls and gardens to the surrounding 39-acre parcel.
