Russian oligarch buys us's most expensive home

Billionaire tech magnate Yuri Milner has purchased a home in California at what is reported to be the biggest price tag ever paid on US soil.

Milner, 49, who has shares in Facebook, Groupon and Spotify, bought the 25,500 square foot property in Los Altos for $100 million, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The sprawling estate features five bedrooms, nine bathrooms, two swimming pools, a ballroom and a home theatre. Milner has no plans to actually occupy the home, which took eight years to build, as he still resides in Moscow with his wife and two children.
