Live like rory mcilroy for £2m
After Europe's stunning victory in the Ryder Cup this weekend, Rory McIlroy will be hoping to follow up his golfing triumph with success on the housing circuit.
Hot on the heels of the tournament, the golfer has listed his Belfast home for sale.
The five-bedroom property is a dream for budding golfers, boasting a putting green with bunkers in the backyard as well as driving range. Players needing to keep fit off the fairway will also not be disappointed: the house's facilities including a gym and, for the morning after exhausting Ryder Cup victories, a "high-tech entertainment system".
McIlroy purchased the property in 2009, according to the Telegraph, but with 50 weeks a year on the road is spending less and less time there. Previously, he's said that he could always see himself living there. But now the golfer has decided to Pack up his Belfast clubs for good.
"I have really enjoyed living here," he says. "It is a really special place which has allowed me to relax and unwind - when I get time. With the privacy and seclusion of the location it is hard to believe the house is only 25 minutes from Belfast city Centre and City airport."
"The space the house offers is bright and airy and there are views over the gardens and the pond from most rooms. The house has always been busy with friends and family and has suited us on all occasions."
How much does it cost to live like Rory McIlroy? The property's asking price is £2m. In the current housing market, with celebrities frequently cutting prices to secure a sale, is that enough for a hole in one? As Europe's Ryder Cup success shows, when it comes to McIlroy you can never rule anything out.
