World's most expensive house goes on the market for £106million

The world’s most expensive house has gone on the market for £106million but large families need not apply – it only has three bedrooms.

That minor drawback aside, it comes with equestrian Centre, guesthouse, staff apartment, timbered hills with aspens, large hay meadows and fishing ponds. And – possibly the clincher – incredible views of the Rocky Mountains.

Jackson Land and Cattle, a 700ha (1,750-acre) ranch with three-bedroom main residence, is set in the beautiful (and estate tax-free) surroundings of Wyoming, USA.

The former home of US governor Clifford Hansen, it is believed to be most expensive house listed for sale in the world. In contrast, the most expensive home for sale in Britain was £75million Updown Court in Surrey until it was repossessed earlier this month.
