When looking at apartments in Australia, there are many things that investors don't look at, according to Just Think Real Estate.

The part that gets overlooked the most? Basement car parks.

"Properties are devalued when managers don't look at the basement car park area," explains Edwin Almeida. "The clean-up of mess will be costly - and everyone who owns property in the complex will have to pay for it."
