The building, which is designed by Danish firm BIG, will be located in the heart of Billund, Denmark. The structure, which resembles a stack of giant LEGO bricks, will span 7,600 square metres and reach a height of 30 metres - making it the biggest LEGO House in the world.

The Centre will combine a cafe, rooftop gardens, a LEGO store and a 1,900 square-metre public square alongside a series of exhibitions about the history and future of LEGO.

Take a tour of the concept design:

Buildings will begin assembling the giant coloured bricks construction early next year and is scheduled to finish by 2016. It expects to attract 250,000 visitors every year.
