French property show a raving success
The year's successful France Show at Earls Court in London is an indicator that the French property is set to enjoy a prosperous 2011, according to a property magazine.
There was a strong rise in visitor numbers compared to the previous year, with total audience figures for the three days between January 14 and 16 hitting 17,400, according to French Property News. Both visitors and exhibitors expressed a preference this year's new layout.
The market area and Flavours of France theatre - boasting cookery demonstrations and entertainment, including comedian and author Tony Hawks - proved especially popular. The free property seminars attracted large numbers, while the wine-tasting theatres were also a success.
Editor Karen Tait said: "We were delighted with the number of visitors to the show, and our exhibitors have reported that the show was a huge success for them too."
