American revival boosts us enquiries on ogc site by 35%
Further evidence of a resurging American housing sector emerged this week when The Overseas Guides Company (OGC) revealed that it saw “a 35% increase in enquiries in the final quarter of 2011 compared with the final quarter of 2010, with the USA showing the strongest surge in popularity.”
The USA “recorded the highest level of growth in terms of enquiries during 2011 on www.OverseasGuidesCompany.com,” OGC told OPP.
America accounted for an 11% share of all OGC traffic for the year as a whole, and 13% in Q4. This was a massive surge in interest when compared with the first quarter of 2011, when the States only attracted 4% of the site’s traffic.
“The USA’s gain may be Europe’s loss but it suggests that interest in buying property overseas is still strong,” OGC told OPP.
