St vincent and the grenadines international airport on the way

St Vincent and the Grenadines' first international airport is set to touch down by the end of the year.

The islands' paradise have been a haven for celebrities and investors alike, thanks to their beauty and privacy. Now, the archipelago will open up to even more international visitors with Argyle International Airport. The project, which was originally scheduled to be completed in 2011, has failed to take off due to various delays, but is now on target for the end of this year, according to Property Showrooms.

The airport will be able to handle 1.5 million passengers every year, more than quintupling the number of visitors currently passing through the ET Joshua Airport. The vital piece of infrastructure has been funded by investments from countries as diverse as Austria, Turkey, Taiwan, Cuba and Trinidad and Tobago.
