Watch: halloween house... Gangnam style!
Over 8,500 lights and roughly 250 channels of computer animation.
That's what it took Edward's Landing Lights to rig up a Halloween house with a difference: a spooky light display timed to flash in sync to the smash hit Gangnam Style.
The rap, by South Korean pop phenomenon Psy, has already gone viral around the world, prompting Hugh Jackman dressed as Wolverine and even UN chief Ban Ki-moon to go Gangnam. But now, Psy's infectiously popular song has entered the real estate world.
Every night in the run up to Halloween, local Virginia residents can see the property's light show, which lasts for 25 minutes and includes Gangnam Style alongside several other well-known Tunes. But Gangnam has been the most popular, taking YouTube by storm since it was uploaded to the video site last week.
"This is a hobby and the display has been in the making for about year," explained its creator. "The Gangnam Style video was a last minute addition made possible by a LightOrama forum member, Torqumada286, who graciously shared the lead singer's mouth/vocal programming sequence with 2me. I tweaked it some, added the back up singers, and sequenced the rest of the house and yard props myself."
The scary part is just how good it looks.
