Brazil: property investments aplenty but be cautious

People looking to invest in Brazil's property market have plenty of opportunity to do so, but must remain cautious, a developer has stated.

Ruban Selvanayagam, who was writing in the Global Property Guide, explained that a lot of information out there about the property market in Latin America's economic giant was misleading.

"Much caution needs to be undertaken to avoid falling victim to false marketing, hype and the abundance of distorted information that simply does not reflect the truth," he said.

Mr Selvanayagam also went on to say that the growth potential of the South American country's property market is still, in a relative sense, in its early stages.
